Begin the tour at Damlatas Cave, which workers discovered by accident in 1948 during harbor construction. The name translates to "Cave of Dripping Stones" due to the stalactites and stalagmites that formed over 15,000 years. People believe the cave air benefits those with asthma. Next, you will head to Cleopatra Beach, a well-known sandy beach. It takes its name from the Egyptian queen, Cleopatra. According to legend, the Roman commander Marcus Antonius gifted the beach to her, and they both swam in these waters. Ride the cable car to Alanya Castle, which the Seljuks constructed in the 13th century. From this fortress, situated on a hill 250 meters above the sea, you can watch the sunset and look out over Alanya. Finally, pause at the Alanya Terrace for a photo break. You can see the town of Alanya from this viewpoint, which sits next to the "I LOVE ALANYA" sign on the hill, concluding your visit to the symbolic landmarks of the city.
